Misbah bans unhealthy food from Quaid-e-Azam trophy

Newly-appointed Pakistan head coach, Misbah-ul-Haq is not wasting any time in improving the fitness level of the players. Misbah has banned fatty and oily foods from the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in a bid to improve the fitness of the players.

During his playing days, Misbah was renowned for his fitness and managed to play till the age of 42 on the basis of his discipline. Fitness and Pakistani cricketers do no really go hand-in-hand. The players were recently criticized during the World Cup for their poor fitness level.

Misbah has issued orders that only barbecue items and pasta with lots of fruits should be on the menu for all teams in the domestic season while the same diet plan would be followed in the national camps. The former captain played international cricket till the age of 43 and is still active as a player at 45 as he is seen as a role model for maintaining high fitness standards.
