Unlike past, this time Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) looked better prepared to market country’s prestigious first-class tournament called ‘Quaid-e-Azam Trophy’. Apart from taking other initiatives, one move included the live-streaming of few games to swell the horizon of the cricketing action.
Recently, Test cricketer Kamran Akmal reviewed this move as he went on to congratulate Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for streaming the domestic matches. The wicket-keeper batsman is of the opinion that PCB’s decision will encourage all the cricketers, particularly the young crop to do well and grab the limelight. Kamran is currently playing for Central Punjab which is led by the prolific batsman Babar Azam.
The 37-year old also highlighted the importance of fitness as he considers it a must to perform well in any form of the game. Moreover, Kamran is confident of doing well in the ongoing red-ball competition and make a case for a comeback in the national team. It remains to be seen how he performs in the domestic season.
