The Afghanistan cricket team is currently on a roll in T20I cricket as it has prolonged its winning streak to 12 consecutive matches after dominating Bangladesh and Zimbabwe during the ongoing tri-series in Bangladesh. Young Afghan off-spinner, Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been a dominant force with the ball in this series as he has taken 4 wickets in 2 games at an economy of almost 6.
While talking about his team’s golden run, Mujeeb said that the pre-tour conditioning camp and the team unity has helped them in creating history.
“All these training camps that we had prior to the tour, were intended to have an unbeaten tour even though Bangladesh and Zimbabwe are very good teams. We have a very good team which has unity. The T20 team is a very good team, that's why we won the 12 matches consecutively and broke the record of Australia,” he said.
