Ganguly calls India an ‘extremely dangerous’ side at home

The current Indian unit possesses great mastery stretched across all the three formats of the game. Particularly at home, the men in blue hold a sparkling record which makes them almost unbeatable. However, the South African team looks confident to beat India despite containing an absence of the few senior players.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has recently reflected on the ongoing series against the rainbow nation as he backed India to win both the T20I and Test series. The 47-year old is of the opinion that the blue team carries immense strength among its ranks which swells to a greater degree when they play at home.

Ganguly highlighted India’s glorious record playing at home while giving strength to his argument. Moreover, he wished luck to India particularly for the red-ball series as it’d be a part of the ICC World Test Championship. The cricketer turned commentator wants India to deliver a strong show and consolidate their top position in the Test Championship rankings.
