Nepalese leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has become a household name in franchise league cricket as he has developed himself into a T20 specialist with his impressive variations at the age of just 19.
The youngster has extended his contract with the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL) as he would be available for the entire tournament this time. During the last season, he took 11 wickets in 8 games at an average of 18 for the Melbourne Stars, but he then returned home for international commitments and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
In his message, Sandeep said that he is excited to take part in the BBL once again as he enjoyed his time with the Stars last year. He also wishes to do well for the Stars this year so that they could get their hands on the trophy this year after finishing in the 4th place last season.
