Pakistani opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq has had an ideal start to the domestic season as he recently scored 152 for Balochistan in the first game of the season against Sindh. The left-hander got his side out of trouble with his patient innings as no other batsman was able to stay at the wicket for long.
Imam also criticized Sindh for negative bowling tactics at the end of second day’s play as he said that the scoring rate of Balochistan was quite low due to the negative lines which were being bowled at them by the Sindh bowlers.
However, Imam was seen discussing the issue with Sindh skipper Sarfraz Ahmed after the game and it is being reported that both the players clarified the reservations through discussion. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also directed all players to avoid making such comments in the media from now on.
