The first round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy is underway in different cities of Pakistan as all six Cricket Associations are going to engage in some intense battles over the next couple of months to get their hands on the prize. The first game at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore (GSL) ended in a draw as Southern Punjab and Central Punjab amassed runs on the board throughout the 4 days. After the conclusion of the game, both the captains sat down to discuss the game as they interviewed each other.
Central Punjab skipper Babar Azam applauded Sami Aslam’s skills and temperament as he said that the game could have generated a result had he not gotten that partnership with Adnan Akmal. Babar also said that the bowlers would find it tough on flat wickets in the tournaments as there is not enough help for them.
However, Southern Punjab captain Shan Masood gave credit to the bowlers for striving hard on such a flat wicket since they had to bowl more than 100 overs in all completed innings without much success.
