Former Australian Cricketer, Brad Hodge, comes up with a surprising statement which he gave in a reply to an Indian cricket analyst’s tweet regarding India’s possible home season dominance. The veteran Aussie cricketer said that there are only 3 good teams in the world at the moment (pointing towards Australia, England, and India).
New Zealand’s former all-rounder, Scott Styris confronted the right-handed batsman by terming his opinion as harsh. Styris defended his argument and said, “I think you are being a bit harsh Hodge; the ICC Test rankings have India, New Zealand, and South Africa at 1, 2, and 3 positions respectively, but I think both Australia and England are worthy of being called good”.
Styris’ sardonic reply justified the fact that he did not like what Hodge said. Brad Hodge has represented Australia in 6 Test matches, 25 ODI matches, and 15 T20I matches.
The 44-year old has a bulky experience of domestic and county cricket at his disposal as well. He played his last international game for Australia back in 2014.
