12 years passed since Yuvraj Singh’s heroics against England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2007, but the fans and cricketers still could not forget those moments. It was the night of 19th September 2007 at the Durban Cricket Stadium and Stuart Broad was against Yuvraj, the left-handed batsman launched him for 6 consecutive sixes in an over.
Ravi Shastri, India’s current Head Coach reminisced about those enthralling moments and said that I still remember that I was commentating and the young man had the willow in his hand. “12 years ago, I had a microphone in my hand and junior had the willow”, Shastri added.
Yuvraj also created another record in that match by scoring the fastest century in T20I off just 12 balls. He was named “Man of the Match” award after India vanquished over England by 18 runs.
