Pakistani cricketer Asif Ali's daughter, who was fighting stage IV cancer, breathed her last at a hospital in the United States. It’s been only four months since the tragedy but Asif has been coping exceptionally well and fulfilling his commitments with the national team professionally.
Asif, who is representing Northern in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam trophy, shared a heart-touching photograph of his daughter on his deceased angel’s second birthday. The grieving father tweeted that he misses her every day while he requests everyone to pray for his daughter.
The attacking batsman recently hit his second first-class century against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Asif’s belligerent knock included 18 boundaries and a six. The 27-year-old only managed to play two World Cup 2019 games but he has been included in the ODI squad for the home series against Sri Lanka.
