Indian captain Virat Kohli is arguably considered as the best batsman of the modern day cricket. Be it Tests, ODIs or T20Is, the explosive batsman possesses a mind-boggling consistency with which he managed to win many memorable contests for India. Moreover, he is the only batsman to average in excess of 50 in all the three formats of the game.
Recently, former England spinner Monty Panesar reviewed Virat’s cricketing career as he predicted that the Indian run machine will go on to break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 International centuries. In fact, the 37-year old believes that Virat has the ability and the skill-set to get few more tons before bidding farewell to the competitive cricket.
Panesar added that Virat Kohli is currently the best batsman across the three formats of the game. He highlighted that the Delhi born cricketer has an amazing ability of learning quickly from his mistakes which enables him to achieve success every now and then. While Virat is going strong in the white-ball cricket, he will look to hunt the top batting position in Test cricket during the South Africa Tests.
