Black Caps pacer Lockie Ferguson has been a brilliant addition to international cricket during recent times as he has impressed everyone with his express pace and effective variations. The right-arm pacer was one of the main bowlers for the national side during this year’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
After wreaking havoc in limited overs cricket, the speedster now wants to try his hand at red ball cricket for New Zealand. He has expressed a desire to become part of the busy upcoming Test season as he feels that no one could judge himself until he has played the premier format of the game.
“I've been pretty vocal about Test cricket being the one I want to play. My whole career, I absolutely love playing the longer format of the game. A lot of cricketers say they don't really judge themselves until they've played Test cricket, and there's a big Test cricket season coming up,” said Ferguson.
