A couple of young spinners have been given a go in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy so that they could be groomed to shine at the international level. Central Punjab’s spinner Zafar Gohar bowled beautifully during the first innings against Northern Punjab as his 4-wicket haul helped his side in enforcing the follow-on eventually.
The 24-year-old is quite confident about his bowling in red ball cricket as he said that he does not worry about others’ opinions since his performances do all the talking. He reaffirmed that he could play longer formats and do well in them, citing his performance in recent domestic seasons.
