Match Tied (Royal Challengers Bangalore win one-over eliminator)
England’s newest pace sensation Jofra Archer was found surprised by the criticism of Australia’s legendary cricketer Glenn McGrath. While Jofra produced a number of sensational spells in the Ashes series and finished with 22 wickets at an average under 21, McGrath questioned his work ethics.
The New South Wales born added that Jofra will have to show the ability of turning the events when things are going against him. Responding to the criticism, the 24-year old said that a cricketer doesn’t perform in every game and McGrath being a former cricketer knows it better than others. Moreover, he is confident to continue his good work in the forthcoming assignments.
“I was surprised when I saw that. As a former pacer, he knows you won’t have a good day every day. The pitches were flat and for him to make a comment like that was odd. My record speaks for itself and there’s no reason to comment on it,” Jofra said while showing frustration on McGrath questioning his temperament.
