South Africa’s newly appointed captain, Quinton de Kock, gains good form against India in the T20I series as the left-handed batsman scored two consecutive half-centuries in the 2nd and 3rd T20I of the series. Quinton de Kock scored 79 off just 52 balls in the 3rd T20I and helped his team to vanquish over India.
South Africa managed to level the 3-match T20I series by 1-1. The 26-year old had a miserable outing in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, but his recent performances will provide him with a lot of confidence as the captain of the Proteas.
Moreover, India has always been a favorable side to de Kock, his stats against the Men in Blue are staggering. Quinton loves batting vs India, he scored 784 ODI runs in 13 innings with 5 centuries and a half century (Averaging 60.30, Strike-rate 91.48) and 137 T20I runs in 3 innings (Average 68.5, Strike-rate 147.31).
