Central Punjab took on Northern in the 6th match of the Quaid-e-Azam trophy at Faisalabad. Central Punjab, batting first put up a mammoth total of 433 runs courtesy a magnificent century from the captain Azhar Ali followed by a classy hundred by Kamran Akmal.
Mohammad Musa, the right-arm fast bowler, who also represented Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League 2019 picked up 3 wickets for Northern. He got rid of both openers Salman Butt and Rizwan Hussain. The agile fast bowler bowled with a brisk pace and caused problems for Central Punjab.
The 19-year old has now played 4 First-Class matches in which he has picked 13 wickets at an average of 30. Musa is surely a future prospect of bowling for Pakistan. He generates a good pace with his slingy action and has the ability to deliver good yorkers at the depth.
