Sindh’s young opening batsman Omair Bin Yousuf hit a fantastic century to put Sindh in a dominant position in their ongoing clash against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The 20-year-old, playing just the ninth first-class game of his career, brought up his third century and struck his career-best score of 174 off 298 deliveries.
Omair exhibited a wide array of strokes during his colorful innings, smacking a total of 18 boundaries and three maximums before being finally dismissed by Adil Amin. Omair found ample support from skipper Asad Shafiq during his elegant knock as the two shared a 145-run partnership between them.
Omair earlier stitched a 130-run opening partnership with Khurram Manzoor. The youngster already has impressive statistics in his short first-class career and could progress to the national side soon if he keeps on putting in such fine performances.
