Zafar Gohar, Pakistan’s left-arm spinner, did a formidable job for Central Punjab during the on-going Quaid-e-Azam trophy, the bloke took 7 wickets against the team Northern in the 6th match of the tournament and helped his team in propelling to a gigantic win.
He took 4 wickets in the 1st innings and 3 wickets in the 2nd innings of the match, but the best part about his spell was the catch that he took of Hammad Azam. Diving to his left of his own bowling, Gohar pulled out a miracle catch out of the thin air.
Zafar Gohar was also named in the list of 20 probables for the series against Sri Lanka; however, he did not make it to the National side. Still, the chances are high that Misbah-ul-Haq, the newly appointed Chief Selector, will consider him for the upcoming ICC Test Championship.
