New Zealand in Scotland 2020

Scotland to host New Zealand for one off-ODI

The Northern Island of the Great Britain, Scotland is all set to host New Zealand for one-off ODI game in June 2020; however, the exact venue of the game is yet to be decided. Scotland has not hosted New Zealand since 1999, therefore New Zealand will be touring the Scottish Country Side after 20 years.

The last time the both countries faced each other was during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at Dunedin. In a low-scoring thriller, New Zealand managed to win the match by 3 wickets.

“We look forward to welcoming New Zealand’s men to Scotland,” Cricket Scotland’s high-performance manager Simon Smith said. “There is a close bond between our nations, and the clash in Dunedin during the 2015 Cricket World Cup was a special occasion marked fittingly by a closely-fought contest played in typically good spirit," Smith added.
