Indian skipper Virat Kohli plays all the shots in the book but his wrist work has always been one of the most impressive in world cricket. The right-hander often uses his wrists to penetrate the field in limited-overs cricket as it gives him more scoring options especially on the leg-side.
Former South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs was really impressed with Kohli’s leg-side flicks during the T20Is against South Africa. But he was even more delighted to see an old video of Virat Kohli in which he revealed his favourite batsman.
The video was from the U19 Cricket World Cup 2008 in which Kohli led the Indian side to a title victory. In that video, Kohli talked about his whole profile while mentioning Herschelle Gibbs as his favourite batsman.
The former South African batsman was talking about Kohli’s flicks with someone on Twitter while a random fan posted that video saying that he learnt the flick from Gibbs.
