Pakistan’s new head coach Misbah-ul-Haq is trying to come up with new plans to elevate the performances of the national side as the green shirts have been below par during recent outings especially in ODI and Test cricket.
The former captain is especially concerned about the performance of captain Sarfraz Ahmed as he feels that the wicket-keeper batsman has been sacrificing his batting position which is why he has failed to do well consistently in any format.
Misbah believes that Sarfraz would be able to utilize his potential and improved fitness to the maximum when he would give himself enough chances to bat for the team. He was referring to the batting position of the skipper which has remained flexible in recent times and it has been hurting his form as a batsman in all formats. Many believe that Sarfraz should bat at the number 4 position as he is someone who could take the innings forward with his attacking batting approach.
