Bangladesh Under 19s won by 9 wickets (DLS Method)
After experiencing a disappointing washout in the final of the T20I tri-series against Afghanistan, Bangladesh’s all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is set to join the ongoing season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The veteran cricketer has also received the NOC from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
Shakib is set to replace the spin wizard Sandeep Lamichhane in Barbados Tridents who is exiting the West Indian T20 frenzy after being called for the national duty. With a plethora of experience stretching across various T20 leagues, the 32-year old is set to add immense quality to the Barbados unit which is currently struggling to make it to the play-offs of the competition.
While he is being given the permission to participate in the 20-over event, he is expected to return to the country as per the need because of the Bangladesh’s upcoming tour to India. On the other hand, Tridents are elated to acquire the services of the talismanic player as he offers great quality both with bat and ball.
