Afridi urges fans to turn up to the stadiums

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka home series is now just a few hours away, as both teams are ready to face each other in the 1st ODI game at the National Stadium Karachi on Friday 27th September. The hype of the series is at its pinnacle as the fans are excited to see their stars play in front of them.

Shahid Afridi- the Pakistani all-rounder, has requested fans to turn up in huge numbers to support cricket during the ODI and T20I series. Shahid Afridi congratulated PCB and thanked Sri Lankan Cricket Board for their contributions towards this series. “I want fans to come in huge numbers in order to support cricket in stadiums, also make Sri Lankan team feel like that they are playing at their home with your massive support”, Afridi said.

Afridi has always been a great ambassador of the game, not just on the field, but he has won many hearts off the field as well. The all-rounder himself was a great crowd puller. Millions turned up in the aisles when Afridi was on the strike, trillions sat back at home to watch him play.
