After the current opening fiasco of the Indian team in Test cricket, Rohit Sharma is set to witness the doors of red-ball cricket opening for him. However, the top-order batsman failed in the tour game against South Africa. While a bunch still remains unconvinced about installing Rohit in the red-ball cricket, others believe that the Maharashtra born should get another crack at Tests.
Recently, former Indian batsman VVS Laxman came forward with an advice for the explosive cricketer. He believes that Rohit doesn’t need to tweak his natural game a lot as this might shake his confidence completely.

Instead, Laxman said that Rohit should look to rely more on his natural game in Tests as he is a rhythm-based player. Moreover, he feels that the plethora of experience behind Rohit allows him to get into a better position than others.
Having scored 1585 runs in 47 innings of the longest format of the game, the 32-year old possesses an average of 39.62. It remains to be seen how he fares against the rainbow nation.
