The Zalmi Madrasa League organized by Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) most popular franchise Peshawar Zalmi has ended in grand fashion with Jamrud Kings being crowned the champions in the Younis Khan Cricket Stadium in Miranshah.
The final match was a close contest as Jamrud Kings emerged victorious by merely seven runs after making 63 runs for the loss of four wickets in the first innings.
Mohammad Ullah was declared man of the match and player of the tournament for his brilliant performances in the competition.
Zalmi Madrasa League is a wonderful initiative introduced by Peshawar Zalmi to bring the students of seminaries into the mainstream and inculcate the love for physical activities and group bonding among youngsters. This was the third season of the new league and Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi has said he aims to spread this tournament to other provinces in the future.
