The Indian coaching staff of the Bangladesh women’s cricket team will not be traveling to Pakistan alongside the side. Bangladesh’s women’s team is expected to tour Pakistan to play five limited-overs fixtures at Gaddafi Stadium next month but head coach Anju Jain will not visit Pakistan.
Anju, assistant coach Devika Palshikar and trainer Kavita Pandey will not accompany the team. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have asked the three Indian members of the coaching staff to be part of the coaching camp in the ACC Emerging Women’s Asia Cup in Sri Lanka.
"We will have another team traveling to Sri Lanka almost at the same period. We've decided to send our Indian coaching staff to Sri Lanka instead of Pakistan to avoid any travel complications," BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said.
