Usman Khan Shinwari defies Pakistan Cricket Management’s decision of not picking him for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 with his incredible performance in the 2nd ODI game against Sri Lanka. The left-arm fast bowler rattled the Lankan batting line-up with bit of pace and swing.
Shinwari picked up 3 wickets in the power-play and left Sri Lanka struggling at 28-5. Shehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka took Sri Lanka out of the abyss of trouble. They both accumulated a partnership of 177 runs.
With increasing tension in the game, Sarfraz Ahmed brought back Shinwari into the attack and he got the desired results. Shinwari picked up another two scalps and completed his 5-wicket haul. He has now taken 33 wickets in 16 matches at an incredible average of 17.93.
