Pakistan’s top-order batsman Babar Azam is currently going through the form of his life. After having a fantastic season in the Vitality Blast T20 Championship in England, the stylish batsman returned to form in ODIs with a belligerent knock against the Islanders in the first game of the series.
Babar reached his 11th ODI ton in just 71 innings which is 3rd fastest after Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock. Compared to Virat Kohli who reached just 8 tons in 71 innings, Babar Azam is going at a rapid pace.
If he continues to bat like this, there’s no doubt he will emerge as one of the finest batsmen in all formats very soon. Babar is currently ranked no.3 in ODIs and he’s the no.1 T20I batsman in the world according to the ICC rankings.
