Pakistan- the land of fast bowlers, has a history of producing quality speedsters since they stepped into this sport. From the likes of great Sarfraz Nawaz, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis to Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Shah Afridi- the country never stopped producing gems.
Usman Khan Shinwari, the left-arm pacer is promising to be one of the best pace bowlers in Pakistan’s long-known history with his remarkable performances.
The left-arm fast bowler becomes the highest-wicket taker after 16 ODIs (33) in Pakistan. Shinwari bowled a match-winning spell against Sri Lanka where he picked up a 5-wicket haul which helped him achieve this feat.
Usman was dropped from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, and now he is defying Pakistan’s decision with his performances. The little problem with the young fast bowler is his inconsistency and at times predictability, but he has the ability to excel as one of the quality bowlers in the country.
