Abid Ali, the star of the 3rd ODI between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, has revealed an interesting fact about his batting. The 31-year batsman loves to learn from the batting of the yesteryear’s legends and endeavor to hone his skills. Abid, who also portrays glimpses of Azhar Ali and Sachin Tendulkar, has been keenly involved in studying the batting techniques of the former stars.
"I try to learn from legends of the game by watching their videos," he said. "When I go back, I watch videos of legends from different countries to help myself improve the game. Most recently I am following Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan” he further added.
This allows him to learn different useful tips and tactics which can help him in International cricket. Abid Ali made his debut against Australia in the U.A.E earlier this year. He scored a century in that match and acknowledged the world with the talent he possesses. The right-handed batsman gives more strength to Pakistan’s top-order and also provides a bit of wicket-keeping services as well.
