Under the captaincy of Shoaib Malik, Warriors have clinched their 9th consecutive victory in the tournament and their latest triumph against the Tallawahs saw their captain Shoaib Malik leading from the front.
After losing 4 early wickets for just 8 runs, Malik shook hands with Sherfane Rutherford to form a match-winning partnership. The captain Shoaib Malik went on to score 73* off just 45 with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Rutherford contributed with a steady 45 off 43 with 5 fours and a Six.
Guyana reached 156-6 and the Tallawahs portrayed their worst show of the tournament with the bat in hand. Tallawahs were all out for just 79 runs as Imran Tahir and Qais Ahmed, the two leg-spinners went through their batting line-up easily.
