To shake off their shoddy record in Australia, Pakistan would once again tour the country for Tests and T20Is. The two-game Test series holds immense significance as it will be a part of the highly celebrated ICC World Test Championship.
Ahead of their tour Down Under, the boys in green have received a valuable piece of advice from Australian great David Boon.
The 58-year old, who is currently refereeing in the ongoing series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, said that Pakistan will have to stay patient and united if they aim to take down Australia in Australia. Moreover, he considered adapting to conditions as a key element of going strong against Kangaroos.
“The grounds in Australia along with conditions are different. So, it would be crucial for Pakistan to come to grip with bounce and pace. It is imperative for them to be patient and shouldn’t give away too many secrets. They should have the confidence to play their own game,” the Tasmania born said while reflecting on Pakistan’s forthcoming trip to Australia.
