England Cricket Team’s speedster and the World Cup final hero, Jofra Archer is all excited for the inaugural competition of the Hundred which is scheduled next year. The draft of the Hundred took place on 3rd October which also included the names of a few International stars.
The Barbadian-born fast bowler said that he wants to play with Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers in the Hundred battle. When asked about which two-player he would love to see on his side, the right-arm pacer said, “I would take Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers both”.
Archer wants to inspire millions of fans in the upcoming tournament, “Hopefully, I can inspire whoever watches the competition."
Jofra is going to play for the Southern Brave in the upcoming Hundred tournament
"It’s something new to look forward to, this could be the next go-to format. Hopefully, the competitions can go a long, long way,” he added.
Jofra Archer will represent Southern Brave (one of the 8 teams in the tournament) in the Hundred. Launched by England Cricket Board (ECB), the tournament will commence in July 2020. It will include 8 teams comprising 7 cities of England.
