England leg-spinner Adil Rashid played a pivotal role in his side’s historic World Cup-winning campaign earlier in the summer. Managing to outfox batsmen with his wide range of variations, Adil’s sharp understanding of the context of the game helped him triumph in many battles.
Recently, the 31-year-old hailing from Bradford was spotted in Pakistan visiting the northern areas devastated by the earthquake which took place two weeks ago. Adil has been donating relief packages to the people affected by the natural catastrophe and his gesture has won him a lot of admirers.
Making the trip via Islamic Relief Pakistan, Adil has been primarily distributing hygiene kits in Mirpur, the region most troubled by the earthquake. He also spoke on the importance on providing aid to the underprivileged so that life is made easier for them.
