Afghanistan’s star leg-spinner Rashid Khan has been a stellar performer for his country since he burst onto the international arena. His quick-arm bowling action makes him a lethal customer with the ball making it incredibly hard for batsmen to read his variations off the hand.
Continuing to blow away oppositions with his skillful spin bowling, Rashid has now earned a mention in the Guinness World Records – a huge achievement for the young cricketer. He is placed in the prestigious book for taking the most number of wickets in international games before the age of 20.
Rashid has 176 wickets under his belt during this period, overtaking legendary Pakistani pacer Waqar Younis for this special feat. Last year, Rashid broke the record for the fastest bowler to the 100-wickets milestone in ODI cricket, doing it in just 44 matches.
