Despite being known as a factory of fast bowlers, Pakistan is currently lacking a bit of quality in this department. On the other hand, India seems to have finally cracked the code of the pace bowling as their fast-bowling department is running through line-ups to bag memorable victories for the country.
In this regard, former Pakistan paceman Shoaib Akhtar made a revelation as he said that Pakistani pacers don’t even contact the speedster. On the other hand, India’s quick Mohammad Shami has been constantly asking for advice from Shoaib.
All this frustrated the Rawalpindi born as he shared disappointment on the current state of national team’s pace department. Shoaib added that it is imperative for the current breed to learn the trade from the former players and they should not feel shy to do that.
Sharing his views, the 44-year old said, “Sadly, our Pakistani fast bowlers don’t ask me how they can really improve their bowling. Contrary to that, Indian pacers like Shami are doing this constantly. It is a sad scenario as far as my country is concerned.”
