The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to enlarge monetary prizes for the top performers in the upcoming National T20 Cup. This serves as a great opportunity for players to bag lucrative prize money and incentivizes them by rewarding them on merit.
The tournament, scheduled to begin on October 13 will see a 100% surge in the total prize money for the winning team, who will pocket PKR 5 million. Moreover, the runners-up in the competition will receive half the winning amount and take home PKR 2.5 million.
Individual players also see a rise in their prizes with the payer of the match award going up at PKR 25,000 while the player of the tournament, best bowler of the tournament, best batsman of the tournament and best wicketkeeper of the tournament all will get PKR 100,000. The earnings for each match have been increased to PKR 40,000 as opposed to PKR 30,000 in the previous season.
