The former Indian opening batsman, Gautam Gambhir commends the batting credibility of Rohit Sharma aka hitman. The right-handed batsman was unstoppable during the 1st Test match against South Africa where he smashed back-to-back centuries at Vizag.
Gautam described Rohit as the most dangerous batsman and said that I have no apprehensions in calling him as the best batsman in the world today. “On a different note, whoever advised Rohit Sharma to play his natural game in Test matches was my man of the match. It is easy to get Rohit to get into a defensive mode just because it is Test cricket. But I am glad Rohit didn’t follow stereotypes and instead brought out the game that he knows best.” Gambhir said.
“I have no apprehensions in declaring him as the most dangerous and the best batsman in the world today.” he further added. Rohit was previously struggling with his form in the Test matches. Dominant in limited-overs, the right-handed batsman found difficulties in adjusting to the longest format of the game. Rohit has found his mojo in Test cricket and the Indian team wants him to carry on the way he is playing.
