Life is becoming extremely hard for Pakistan’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed who is finding himself in a massive pool of criticism. While his batting was already becoming a debatable topic, the thrashing against a weak team of Sri Lanka added to this equation as fans sit angry and frustrated on having a misfiring player doing the duties of a skipper.
Reviewing the current scenario, former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif shared his views as he advised the wicket-keeper batsman to take some rest and fix his issues. The cricketer turned analyst who was shocked to see the boys in green losing to a second-string Sri Lankan unit believes that taking some time away from the game is necessary when things are going against you.
However, he added that he doesn’t see Sarfaraz taking any rest and repeating the mistake of Kamran Akmal. Moreover, the Karachi born also criticized Sarfaraz’s decision to bat at four despite knowing his recent batting struggles. It would be interesting to see how the agile cricketer responds to this advice.
