Balochistan outclassed Sindh with an authoritative display of explosive batting and later completed the job with a fine bowling performance to march to victory by 52 runs. Balochistan racked up a huge total of 233/6 in their allotted overs following fifties from Awais Zia and Bismillah Khan.
They were also helped by a quickfire cameo by Amad Butt towards the end of the innings. Striking the ball sweetly, Butt smashed an unbeaten 10-ball 31 that proved to be the nail in the coffin for Sindh. He lit up the Iqbal Stadium with four towering sixes and a solitary boundary.
While Sindh tried their best to wrest back the advantage in the chase, the mammoth total was too much for them. Balochistan’s splendid bowling effort was also spearheaded by Butt, who claimed three wickets for 32 runs and was awarded the man of the match prize for his supreme all-round heroics.
