While these are early days in the highly celebrated ICC World Test Championship, but India has already stamped its authority in the global red-ball competition. Playing 4 games of the tourney, the men in blue recorded victories in all of them to deposit a total of 200 points in their kit.
In the ongoing Test series, India looked a far superior unit as they defeated South Africa in all the three departments of the game. This allowed the blue team to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
While a chunk expected India to rest few players for the 3rd game, skipper Virat Kohli reiterated that he is not settling for anything less than 3-0. Moreover, the Delhi born highlighted the significance of each game in terms of the ICC World Test Championship.
Sharing his views, the 30-year old said, “It is nice to win, but we are looking at the larger picture – the Test Championship. We have no plans to take the foot off the gas. We are hopeful to make it 3-0. No one is going to relax at any stage, that is a guarantee.”
