The king of Pakistan’s batting line-up, Babar Azam continues to do wonders with the bat in hand. The young batsman smashed another T20 century during the National T20 Cup.
Playing for Central Punjab, Babar piled up 102 runs against Sindh which came in the losing cause as Sindh chased the target of 189 with 3 wickets remaining.
He has become the first Pakistani batsman to score 3 T20 centuries in a calendar year. The right-handed batsman is leading the T20I rankings with a supreme average of almost 50.
Babar has been recently named as the vice-captain of the team as well. Pakistan’s management wants to groom him for the future as they heavily rely on him in the middle-order.
He did not have a good outing against Sri Lanka in the T20I series at Lahore but he has the ability to come back strongly when Pakistan will tour Australia in November.
