Following a successful tour of Sri Lanka, Pakistan is looking to invite more teams to experience a complete resumption of International cricket in the country. For this reason, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is striving hard to convince Bangladesh to play in Pakistan.
Bangladesh Under-17 team is expected to visit the country on October 22 before women’s team lands in Pakistan. Moreover, the senior team is set to tour Pakistan in February to play two Test matches and three T20Is.
Hence, a security team of Bangladesh is expected to visit Pakistan to confirm the forthcoming cricketing action. While Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) operations chairman Akram Khan didn’t reveal any particular date, sources claimed that the security team will arrive in Pakistan this week to assess the security conditions.
If Pakistan is able to pull this one off, this might help them boost the confidence of the other teams along with many foreign players who are set to participate in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
