England’s fast bowling sensation and the hero of the ICC Cricket World Cup final, Jofra Archer talks about the post-world up duties of the English team. Jofra feels that England should inspire youngsters to adopt this sport (cricket) with their legacy of the World Cup victory.
“I've seen many videos of kids playing, doing their celebrations in the back garden. I think the World Cup is going to get spoken about for many years to come. We do need to use it. I think we need to push it a lot further, it's wet and muddy but I don't think they care. It makes us happy to see them playing and wanting to do better.” Jofra said.
He also has a message for the aspiring cricketers, saying: “Never give up, if no one believes in you, you have to believe in yourself. You never know where the cricket can take you in two weeks, two months or a year, anything is possible.”
Archer is determined to do wonders for England in the upcoming years. He said that we want to climb at the top during the ICC Test Championship. Moreover, he said that we want to win back-to-back World Cups and build on over contemporary legacy.
