Wahab terms Saif Badar as a good candidate for Pakistan

Wahab Riaz heaped praise on Saif Badar as the two got their team (South Punjab) home in an intense battle against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the National T20 cup. Badar scored an unbeaten 49 runs alongside Wahab’s 42 runs.

Talking about Saif Badar in the press conference, Wahab said “Saif is a good candidate because of the way he batted and secured the inning when we were four wickets out. He played a pretty controlled inning and never looked confused, so for me this is a good sign”.

“Saif also won us the game last year at T20 Cup finals, so this is a good sign that a youngster is performing consistently, which is great for Pakistan cricket,” he added. Saif Badar, the 21-year old, has played 23 T20 matches so far in which he averages 23.80.
