The former World cup winning captain of India Mahendra Singh Dhoni in on a break from international cricket after the conclusion of the ICC World Cup 2019. Dhoni has not been picked for the series against Bangladesh and the selectors are thinking about the future of the former captain.
"During all this time, I was nowhere in the picture. My first selection committee meeting will be on October 24. So I will ask the selectors and talk with the captain. Coach (Ravi Shastri) won't be there as per the new Constitution," Ganguly said.
As soon as Sourav Ganguly took over as the new BCCI president, it was revealed by some of the sources that Sourav Ganguly is going to discuss the future of MS Dhoni with the national selectors.
Dhoni has not played a single international match for India since their defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the ICC World Cup 2019.
