The Royal Couple of the British Monarchy, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Williams and Kate Middleton visited National Cricket Academy during their tour of Lahore. The Royal Highness spent time with the young cricketers at the academy.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hassan Ali, and Sana Mir were presented on the occasion. Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Ehsan Mani and Managing Director PCB, Wasim Khan were also there.
The Prince and the Princes played a bit of cricket as well which became the highlight of the day. They held talks with the young cricketers and backed up their interest in the sport, which has strong roots in English background.
The Royal Couple was given a brief description of NCA Lahore and Pakistan’s cricket history as they walked through the gallery. The presence of the Royal Couple in Pakistan highlights the fact that the country is safe to tour. Moreover, the passionate cricket fans in the country are eagerly waiting for the Western teams to tour Pakistan.
