Pakistan’s rising pace sensation Hasan Ali is in doubt for the upcoming tour of Australia where the boys in green are set to lock horns in 3 T20Is and 2 Tests against the Kangaroos. Due to a back problem, Hasan was ruled out of the home series against Sri Lanka as well as the ongoing domestic T20 tournament, and now his chances to feature against Australia aren’t bright.
It is being understood that the 25-year old hasn’t recovered fully to participate in competitive cricket. Apart from this, he is not engaging in the gym training and bowling practice as experts revealed that Hasan needs treatment and rehabilitation before returning to such activities.
All this has created a cloud of confusion around his availability for the Australia series. If he gets ruled out, then Pakistan would be under serious pressure as they earlier lost the services of veterans Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz from the Test cricket.
With Shaheen Afridi being very inexperienced, Mohammad Abbas emerges as the most capped red-ball bowler and even he has played only 14 Tests.
