Nadeem Omer, the owner of Quetta Gladiators bashed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on firing Sarfraz Ahmed from the captaincy of Pakistan’s T20I and Test team. Nadeem Omer said that he has not seen such injustice in the cricketing world.
“The leaders are not born over-night, there are people who back them during their tough times. It is totally unfair to fire a captain just because of one series. Sarfraz’s services for Pakistan cricket are unprecedented and we should protest this decision”, Nadeem Omer said.
Sarfraz Ahmed is also the captain of Quetta Gladiators, the Pakistan Super League based franchise. Under his reign, Quetta won the PSL edition 2019.
The owner of Quetta Gladiators strongly condemned this trend of over-night captaincy changes and called for a protest against this decision.
