With the next edition of the T20 World Cup being only one year away, teams are gearing up and finalizing their preparations to be in the best shape to steal the thunder of the 20-over event. Recently, captains of all the teams talked to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Indian skipper Virat Kohli is not an exception.
The Delhi born added that his unit is currently focusing on winning the mega-event and for this to happen, the men in blue will have to use the next 12 months wisely.
“The T20 World Cup is a big focus for us. It is imperative to use the next 12 months properly to place ourselves in a good position to compete well with other units. We have tested few players, as we want to have a settled team combination before stepping into the competition,” said the 30-year old as he shared his plans for the T20 World Cup in Australia.
Kohli is open to test his resources before the World Cup. Moreover, he expects incredible support from the Indian fraternity in the Australian stadiums.
